Women's Ministry Summer Bible Study

Womens Summer Bible Study
I just wanted to let all of you know since we had such a great time last summer, we are planning on doing a summer drop-in style Women's bible study open to all women! Tanya Wyma and Karen Rissmann will be facilitating the study and it will meet in the church courtyard (unless it rains and we will move inside) on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:15 a.m. starting June 7. The study we will be doing is a Fruit of the Spirit on Peace. Jennie is working hard at finding childcare as we plan on having it available for anybody who would like to participate. Please invite anyone you think might be interested. We will make books available for pick up at Lifeway, but please feel free to come any if you haven't picked up a book. To help us accommodate book orders and childcare numbers please contact Kara at evan42dk@yahoo.com if you have need of either or if you have questions

OIn Sunday, May 23, Pastor Keith begins a series of three messages titled "What I believe." The messages will teach the basics of the Christian faith as summarized in first question and answer of the Heidelberg Catechism (May 13 & 20, June 10). Pastor Steve is preaching on Pentecost Sunday, May 27. Kari is preaching on June 3. On Father's Day, June 17, Pastor Keith begins a series of eight messages on the petitions of the Lord's Prayer.

	Faith Alderete Director of Children's Ministries faitha@whitpres.org (509i) 466-0305 ext 120	As Director of Children’s Ministries, Faith oversees everything that involves children in grades PreK – 6th grade. She and the Children’s Ministry Team make sure that during Sunday School, Children’s Church, Kid’s Club, VBS and various other activities that the children learn biblical truths in a loving and safe environment while having lots of fun. Faith and her husband David have five children and three grandchildren.

	Carol Arndt Director of Historical Traditional Worship carola@whitpres.org (509) 466-0305 ext 124	Carol coordinates and oversees the various worship ministries supporting the Sanctuary worship, while serving as organist, pianist, and choral director. One of the most joy-filled facets of the Traditional Worship Ministry is working with the many people who desire to serve God through their talents and gifts. Encouraging people to use their talents, helping them to discern their spiritual gift(s) and then providing a place for them to use them within the worship environment is very exciting! 	Jennie Atkins Assistant Directory of Children's Ministry jennieatkins@msn.com (509) 466-0305 ext 129	As Assistant Director of Children’s Ministry, Jennie provides a safe and welcoming Christian environment for children from ages 4 weeks-6^th grade. She coordinates, supervises and participates in the care of children for all worship services, Tuesdays for Women, Wednesday night growth groups and for other church special events. Jennie also coordinates curriculum for all of our EC³ Preschool Children.

	Alissa Schultz Program Supervisor Child Care Center Alissas@whitpres.org (509) 466-0305 ext 128	Alissa is the Program Supervisor of the Whitworth Daycare. Alissa oversees the daycare to help make it a loving, safe and Christ-centered environment to all children who are enrolled. Alissa started her journey at Whitworth Daycare as a caregiver and after getting her degree in Early Childhood continued on in serving the children and families of the daycare.
